# Dovre Line railway maintenance and closures

Bane NOR announced extensive maintenance, renewal, and emergency preparedness exercises on the Dovre Line between Eidsvoll and Trondheim from September 26 to September 30. 

The work involves condition monitoring, ballast and sleeper replacement, landslide protection, and overhead line system renewal. Construction also continues on the double-track expansion through Stange municipality. 

Due to these closures, replacement bus services will be provided for the Dovre Line, the Raumabanen, and the route between Hamar and Elverum. A full-scale emergency preparedness exercise is scheduled for September 26 in Rosten, Innlandet.

All train services on the Odense–Svendborg line in Denmark will be suspended from October 3 to 18 due to track maintenance, with replacement buses being deployed.
