An official anime sequel titled ‘Dr. Stone Terraforming’ has been announced following the conclusion of the main series and the final season, ‘Dr. Stone Science Future’, which aired through June 2026.

Announced during the ‘STONE FES. 2026’ event in Yokohama, the new project will adapt the epilogue content from the 27th volume of the original manga by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi. The story is expected to focus on the scientific adventures of Senku Ishigami and his allies, specifically addressing the ambition to build a time machine to prevent the petrification tragedy.

A teaser trailer featuring a new voice recording from the protagonist has been released. While a specific release date has not been confirmed, projections suggest a debut potentially as late as 2027. Crunchyroll is expected to be the primary streaming platform, with Netflix potentially hosting the content later.
