On September 27, Drake made a surprise appearance during Karol G’s concert at Houston’s Reliant Stadium. The two artists performed their collaboration “Ahí” live for the first time, alongside Drake’s hits “Janice STFU” and “One Dance.” The performance, which featured close interactions and dancing, led to social media speculation regarding a potential romance, though no official relationship has been confirmed.

Following the event, Bruno Mars posted a humorous reaction on social media, jokingly stating, “I have to get her back!” in reference to Karol G. Mars’s reaction gained significant attention as he also celebrated winning the award for Best R&B at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.

On September 30, Bruno Mars and Karol G released a music video for the track “Dance With Me” from Mars’ album “The Romantic.” The video depicts a romantic narrative in which Mars serenades Karol G outside her balcony, ending with an embrace under fireworks. This release follows their previous musical collaboration on the song “Still” and builds upon the public interest generated by the viral Drake performance in Houston.

Since the video release, the album “The Romantic” has achieved significant commercial success, topping the Billboard 200, Apple Global Album Chart, and Spotify Global charts.
