Laboratory testing in parts of Evia and Orchomenos has confirmed that drinking water meets safety standards for human consumption. 

In Evia, the DEYAKA municipal enterprise reported that samples from Kymi and Kalimeriana collected from consumer taps were within prescribed limits. The agency advised relying on official results rather than social media claims. 

In the Municipality of Orchomenos, water in Kastrou, Karyas, Dionysos, Agios Dimitrios, and Agios Andreas was found to comply with safety parameters, leading to the lifting of previous usage bans. However, water use prohibitions remain in effect for the communities of Agios Spyridon and Mavrogia pending further cleaning of the supply system.
