In Makassar, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has responded to drought conditions by distributing over 3 million liters of clean water. Using 25 vehicles, the agency completed 705 trips to 310 distribution points across 8 districts and 58 sub-districts. 

According to Muhammad Fadli Tahar, Head of BPBD Makassar, the effort has benefited approximately 26,888 households, or 92,931 individuals. The agency stated that distribution efforts are being expanded dynamically based on real-time field reports to ensure the needs of households, children, and the elderly are met.
