In partnership with EFG Hermes UAE LLC, the service is integrated into the EFG Hermes ONE mobile application, allowing users to obtain a DFM investor number (NIN) and open trading accounts via smartphone without physical branch visits or paperwork. This digital transition follows a period of growth for the exchange. During the first half of 2026, the DFM onboarded 42,864 new investors, 71.4 percent of whom were foreign nationals. Total traded value for that period reached AED 119.5 billion, representing a 40.4 percent year-on-year increase. As of late June 2026, the DFM's total market capitalization was recorded at Dh981.6 billion.
