The Yellowstone spinoff series, ‘Dutton Ranch’, premiered on Paramount+ in May 2026. The debut was highly successful, attracting 12.9 million viewers worldwide within its first seven days, which marked the strongest launch for a Paramount+ original series.

Following the premiere, actress Kelly Reilly announced during the Paramount UK Upfronts that filming for the second season is scheduled to begin in early 2027. The upcoming season will feature Benjamin Cavell taking over production duties from Chad Feehan and is expected to address the cliffhanger ending of the first season. While filming dates are established, an official broadcast date for the new episodes has not yet been released.

Recent reports indicate that the second season will not return in 2026. Although the series received critical acclaim and high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, the release of new episodes has been pushed to 2027. These delays are attributed to the leadership transition from departing showrunner Chad Feehan to Benjamin Cavell, alongside technical production timelines.
