Dynamo Dresden is experiencing difficulties regarding both club governance and sporting performance.

In a legal development, a Dresden court overturned the club’s honorary council decision to remove supervisory board member Thomas Blümel and suspend his membership. The court ruled the sanctions were disproportionate, citing insufficient evidence regarding allegations that Blümel leaked internal information.

On the field, head coach Thomas Stamm has criticized the team’s performance and the lack of impact from substitutes as the club struggles in the lower reaches of the table. Stamm has called for increased running intensity and improved decision-making during counter-pressing as the team prepares for a DFB-Pokal match against FC Schalke 04.
