Sources: 4. Developments: 2. Dynamo Dresden is managing significant roster changes during a challenging start to the 2. Bundesliga season. Defender Friedrich Müller has emerged as a standout performer, seeing his market value rise to 2 million euros following his nomination to the German U20 national team. Coach Thomas Stamm has utilized Müller’s ball control and decision-making by experimenting with him in a defensive midfield role. Müller recently completed a stint with the German U20 squad, participating in matches against France, Italy, and England. Following his international duty, he has rejoined the Dynamo Dresden squad to prepare for an upcoming away match against VfL Osnabrück. While Müller’s value has increased, other players face potential departures. Christoph Daferner, Luca Herrmann, and Nils Fröling are considered candidates for transfer during the winter window if their performances do not improve, as they have seen limited playing time due to increased squad competition. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-05: Friedrich Müller returns to Dynamo Dresden after U20 international duty Dynamo Dresden defender Friedrich Müller has returned to club duties after completing three international appearances with the German U20 national team. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/friedrich-mller-returns-to-dynamo-dresden-after-u20-international-duty ### 2026-09-28: Dynamo Dresden sees player value surge and roster uncertainty Dynamo Dresden sees defender Friedrich Müller's market value soar to 2 million euros, while players Daferner, Herrmann, and Fröling face potential departures due to limited playing time. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/dynamo-dresden-sees-player-value-surge-and-roster-uncertainty --- Cite as: Dynamo Dresden roster and player developments.
