In Spain, residents in the Bierzo region, including municipalities such as O Barco de Valdeorras and Viana do Bolo, reported vibrations and rattling glassware. The tremor was also felt in various parts of Galicia, including Ourense, Lugo, and the Vigo area, as well as in Asturias and the provincial capital of León. Residents in towns like Ponferrada and Astorga reported hearing sounds resembling a “loud rumble or a whistling noise.”

In Portugal, the earthquake was felt in northern areas such as Bragança. The Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) monitored the event and advised the population to follow civil protection guidelines and maintain vigilance.
