Edon Zhegrova, a winger for Juventus, has drawn transfer interest from Italian clubs Atalanta and Como following strong performances. While Atalanta is monitoring him for tactical fit, Como may propose a loan deal with an option to buy for approximately €15 million, though Juventus prefers a permanent sale.

Zhegrova has continued to demonstrate his technical ability on the international stage with the Kosovo national team, recently emerging as a leader in successful dribbles in the UEFA Nations League. In Serie A, he made a significant impact as a substitute in Juventus’s match against Cagliari. After being introduced at halftime by Luciano Spalletti to replace Francisco Conceição, Zhegrova recorded five shots on target, equaling a record held by Luis Muriel and Lautaro Martínez for the most shots on target by a substitute since the 2004-2005 season. Despite this offensive pressure, he was unable to score against goalkeeper Caprile and was omitted from the UEFA squad list for the Europa League match against Celta Vigo.

Ahead of a match against Lazio, Luciano Spalletti provided mixed feedback on the 27-year-old. While the coach praised Zhegrova’s unpredictable playing style and dribbling abilities, he criticized his defensive contributions, noting that he does not always maintain the “necessary tactical balance for the team.” Nevertheless, following impactful appearances against Sassuolo and Atalanta, Zhegrova has become a serious candidate for the starting lineup, particularly as teammate Francisco Conceição faces fatigue. Former player Ravanelli has also voiced support, suggesting Zhegrova’s offensive impact outweighs his defensive shortcomings.
