Data from the Ministry of Education’s Connected Schools Indicator (Inec) shows that 86.6% of municipal schools in the region have adequate internet connectivity, exceeding the national average. However, state-run schools in the area face challenges, with 53.2% rated as having inadequate electricity, internet speed, or Wi-Fi distribution. In terms of academic opportunities, the Consórcio Intermunicipal do Grande ABC and the Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (Umesp) have entered a cooperation agreement to offer up to 1,000 undergraduate scholarships. These include 100% full scholarships for CadÚnico registrants and 75% discounts for those with family incomes up to three minimum wages.
