Educational and community programs are being implemented across Austria and Germany. In Upper Austria, the environmental department has introduced sustainability education kits for schools, providing students with tools to research soil, water, air, and noise quality. This initiative includes a specific glacier kit designed to demonstrate the retreat of the Hallstätter Glacier using 20 years of measurement data.

Broader regional activities include various school-led programs, such as language trips, research camps in medical biophysics, and flight projects involving gliders. Community-focused efforts are also underway, including workshops on digital communication, gender equality through football camps, and local cultural festivals.
