In August 2026, the State of Mexico hosted the Second International Congress of Education, titled ‘La Nueva Escuela Mexicana en acción. Hacia una comunidad educativa humanista y pluriversal’. Organized by the State of Mexico Ministry of Education (SECTI), the event brought together specialists from Mexico, the United States, Serbia, Switzerland, Spain, and Peru to discuss critical pedagogy, educational policy, teacher training, and intercultural education.

Following this, in September 2026, the Legislative Studies Institute (Inesle) of the State of Mexico Congress launched a program to enhance the technical training of legislative and public management personnel. Through a collaboration with the State of Mexico Treasury Institute (IHAEM), the initiative includes a specialty in legislative processes and political representation designed to strengthen professionalization within the Legislative Power.
