New educational and musical facilities have been inaugurated in Chalkida, Evia. The Nikos Skalkotas Music Gymnasium-Lyceum has opened in Nea Artaki, featuring specialized music rooms, a library, and sports courts funded by the Municipality of Chalkida.

Simultaneously, the 26th Primary School of Chalkida has opened new premises in the Bataria area. This facility, which includes ten classrooms and a physics laboratory, was funded through the ‘Antonis Tritsis’ development program. The land for this primary school was provided free of charge by the Hercules Group, a member of Holcim, as part of a collaboration between the private sector and local government.
