The Municipality of Villa María has implemented several initiatives to support the local educational sector. The city launched the second edition of the ‘Villa María + Educativa’ awards, an initiative designed to recognize the projects and experiences of teachers, student centers, and educational institutions that promote inclusive and innovative education.

Following this, the city inaugurated ‘La Casa del Estudiante’, a residential facility located in a repurposed hotel. Developed in collaboration with the EnRed regional development network, the residence provides housing for up to 60 students from the surrounding region to help reduce economic barriers to higher education. The Municipality of Villa María is covering 50 percent of the building's rental costs to support the project.
