Initially, Minister of Health and Population Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar conducted inspections of medical supply warehouses and central workshops to ensure the availability of strategic stockpiles, including supplies for kidney and heart diseases. During these inspections, directives were issued to upgrade machinery and link worker wages to production rates. Efforts have since expanded to include large-scale investment and international cooperation. The Ministry is implementing a five-year plan (2025–2030) to increase capacity through projects such as new bone marrow units and digital transformation in hospitals.
