EgyptAir has established a multi-year partnership with FC Barcelona, serving as the official airline for the club’s football, basketball, and handball teams through the 2028-2029 season. Under this agreement, the EgyptAir logo will appear on the FC Barcelona handball team’s jerseys. 

The Egyptian government characterized the deal as an “unprecedented achievement” for the national carrier, noting its role in expanding EgyptAir’s global brand presence and international route network. 

In addition to the sports sponsorship, EgyptAir has extended its strategic collaboration with Samsung Electronics Egypt for a third year. This partnership focuses on customer experience enhancements, offering EgyptAir employees shopping vouchers via the Samsung e-store and providing Samsung customers with discounts on airline tickets and promotional travel opportunities.
