Synergy Plus released official posters for the film ‘Matloub A'ilyan’, starring Karim Abdel Aziz and Yasmine Sabri, with a scheduled theatrical release date of October 7, 2026.

By early October, reports indicated that Sabri’s film ‘Naseeb’, which features her in her first absolute lead role, has faced further delays. This coincides with the upcoming premiere of ‘Matloub A'ilyan’. Additionally, Sabri has faced social media scrutiny regarding her appearance at a L'Oréal Paris event during Paris Fashion Week. Critics have debated the perceived contradiction between her fashion choices and her previous media statements describing herself as having a “conservative nature aligned with her Eastern background”.

Ahead of the ‘Matloub A'ilyan’ premiere, Sabri reflected on her career milestones, identifying the 2015 musical drama series ‘Tariqi’ as a “good luck” turning point for her professional journey. In the social comedy ‘Matloub A'ilyan’, she portrays a mother of two, marking her second collaboration with Karim Abdel Aziz following ‘Project X’. Sabri also commented on the music industry, expressing enthusiasm for singer Sherine Abdel Wahab’s return and noting that the Arab audience has missed her unique voice.
