The facility serves as an engineering hub where illusions are constructed and tested using heavy machinery and manual labor, employing 50 permanent staff members. In connection with their upcoming RTL broadcast, ‘No Limits - Die große Stadionshow,’ the duo revealed that their legal surname is actually Reinelt. Their professional history includes early independent performances under the names ‘Andy McJoy’ and ‘Chris Joker’ before they began performing together in 2000 and adopted their current stage name in 2004. In recent interviews, the brothers shared personal anecdotes from their youth in Herford, including a period when they were both in love with the same woman. Chris noted he may have been “less than transparent” about his whereabouts during that time, while Andreas joked that she “chose the wrong one” after Chris won her affection. The duo credits their father as a central figure and visionary in their development of complex illusions. Their career has since evolved from small corporate events to massive stadium shows, including the ‘No Limits’ production which will be accompanied by a backstage documentary on RTL. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-24: Ehrlich Brothers reveal real names and personal history Magicians Andreas and Chris Ehrlich reveal their real surname is Reinelt and share stories of their youth and career beginnings. 11 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/ehrlich-brothers-reveal-real-surname ### 2026-10-19: Ehrlich Brothers operate large-scale magic workshop in Germany German magic duo the Ehrlich Brothers utilize a large-scale workshop in Bünde to engineer and build their stage illusions using manual craftsmanship and a team of 50 employees. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/ehrlich-brothers-operate-large-scale-magic-workshop-in-germany --- Cite as: Ehrlich Brothers professional activities and background.
