Sources: 67. Developments: 6. Eintracht Frankfurt is undergoing significant shifts in its financial and organizational strategies. The club is currently navigating player market value fluctuations while aiming to generate approximately €100 million from seven players out on loan. This strategy is intended to contribute to a projected €45 million net profit during the 2026 summer transfer window. Notable movements include Hugo Larsson’s move to Fulham on a loan with an “obligation to buy” for €25 million, a €10 million increase in Younes Ebnoutalib’s market value, and a €7 million decrease for goalkeeper Noah Atubolu. Following the October 2026 announcement of sporting director Markus Krösche’s immediate release, the club’s leadership structure has transitioned. Krösche, who requested to step down to provide the club a ‘fresh impulse’, is being pursued by AC Milan for the role of Head of Football. Negotiations regarding Krösche are reportedly in an advanced stage, though some reports suggest talks remain in the early phases. To secure him, Milan may need to pay a compensation fee estimated between €5 million and €7 million to honor his contract until 2028. While the Milan project appeals to Krösche, he is expected to take a professional break before potentially starting in January. Once the leadership structure is finalized, Milan intends to target reinforcements in the January transfer window, specifically a central defender—with Gonçalo Inácio and Luca Reggiani mentioned—a wing-back, and a backup striker for Gonçalo Ramos. Axel Hellmann, the newly appointed club chairman, is temporarily overseeing the sports department. Frankfurt is also intensifying its pursuit of Christoph Spycher, the Chief of Sports at BSC Young Boys, as a potential successor, alongside other candidates such as Fredi Bobic and Andreas Schicker. ## Claims - Amanal Petros is the European marathon champion.
