Various EIT Food-supported initiatives have been launched to provide mentorship and resources to agrifood and agricultural startups.

In Cyprus, the SocialTech Lab is running the second edition of the Ground2Scale+ program. This eight-week initiative offers entrepreneurs and researchers training in market validation and investment preparation, culminating in a Demo Day and a prize pool of €2,000.

In Romania, Impact Hub Bucharest, acting as the EIT Food Country Representative, has launched the AgriStart program with support from Bayer. The program aims to bridge the gap between research and market-ready products by selecting 10 teams for mentorship and workshops, with the two most promising startups advancing to a commercialization stage.
