El Corte Inglés has undertaken several strategic renovations across its Spanish locations to modernize the shopping experience. 

In Vigo, the company completed a major transformation of its 22,000-square-meter facility, which began in August 2024. The project focused on an omnichannel model, reorganizing the store into specialized zones for women, men, and children, while introducing over 50 new brands and experiential spaces like La Barra Gourmet.

Following this, the retailer launched a new phase for its Club del Gourmet at the Diagonal location. This renovation covers more than 750 square meters and introduces ‘La Barra del Gourmet’, a space featuring its own kitchen that emphasizes high-quality, locally sourced seafood and seasonal Catalan dishes.
