The electronic music scene in Italy is experiencing growth through diverse event formats and artist achievements.

Initial developments include the success of itinerant events like Ettore Raso’s ‘Back to the party’, which achieved sold-out status in Marina di Grosseto. Plans were also noted to bring such initiatives to historic sites like the Medici Walls in Grosseto. International presence was highlighted by techno producer Sven Väth, who scheduled performances in Porto Cervo and Milan as part of the XXX Summer Celebration.

Subsequent activity expanded to include regional niche events, such as the second edition of ‘Up to the Mountains’ in the Sila region, which features high-altitude sets focused on 1980s and 1990s sounds. Additionally, Italian artists achieved international recognition, exemplified by Sardinian DJ Mattia Lucente performing hard techno for 5,000 people at Disco Tropics in Spain.
