Brazil has experienced a series of emergency incidents involving explosions, fires, and accidents across multiple states. Early reports highlighted explosions at a bus terminal in São Simão, Goiás, suspected to be caused by an LPG gas leak, which left an 86-year-old man with burns to 63% of his body. Other early incidents included a large fire at a lumber yard in Caçu, a landfill blaze in Ananindeua, and a residential fire in Piripiri.

Urban security and infrastructure alerts have also emerged. In São Paulo, a suspected gas leak caused an explosion in an underground gallery on Avenida Paulista, injuring three people, while a suspicious bag led to the temporary closure of the Higienópolis-Mackenzie metro station and the isolation of Terminal 3 at Guarulhos International Airport.

Industrial and large-scale fires have caused significant damage, including a tire recycling factory in Catanduva, a hospital supplies factory in Blumenau, and a tanker truck fire in Criciúma that left a worker with burns on 80% of his body. Recent reports also note fires in schools, apartment complexes, and shops in Aripuanã, São Luís, and Apucarana.

Traffic and heavy vehicle accidents continue to cause fatalities and environmental risks. On October 23, a collision on the BR-262 in Minas Gerais involving an ore-carrying truck and a semi-trailer resulted in an oil spill and one injury. In Goiás, a diesel tanker overturned and caught fire on the BR-020, causing diesel to leak into the cerrado area; the Federal Highway Police contacted Ibama to assess environmental damage.

Residential fires were also reported, including a home in Santo Anastácio destroyed by a blaze that authorities suggest may be arson, and an apartment fire in Salvador that required building evacuations and left several people treated for smoke inhalation.
