The second edition of the Emilia Street Parade in Santarcangelo di Romagna took place between September 18 and 20, 2026, as part of a broader weekend of cultural and sporting events in the Rimini province. 

The parade, held on Saturday, September 19, drew over 20,000 participants. A central component of the festivities was the Emilia Street Run Parade, which involved approximately 300 people traveling through the city via bicycles, scooters, and other modes of transport. The event also featured hot air balloon flights over the town and live musical performances by artists such as Cavalli Mongoli and various DJs.

Visual elements included the ‘In viaggio verso via Emilia’ video installation by Vladimir Bertozzi, which projected a continuous loop onto a building facade. 

To facilitate the activities, Via Emilia underwent a 24-hour closure to traffic and parking between via Montevecchi and viale Mazzini, running from 8:00 AM Saturday until 8:00 AM Sunday. This closure necessitated traffic diversions for commuters traveling between Savignano, Bellaria, and Rimini, and included restrictions on heavy vehicles exceeding 3.5 tons.
