Emily Wickersham is set to reprise her role as Eleanor ‘Ellie’ Bishop in a multi-episode arc on the prequel series NCIS: Origins. Her character is scheduled to first appear in the October 27 episode, titled ‘Shimmy Shimmy Ya.’

In the series’ present-day timeline, Bishop is enlisted by the new NCIS Director, Tony DiNozzo, to assist Leroy Jethro Gibbs in tracking unidentified assailants who shot him. The storyline follows Gibbs as he attempts to keep his investigation off the official books. Following her initial appearance, reports indicate Wickersham’s role will extend into subsequent episodes, such as ‘Baila Esta Cumbia,’ where Gibbs and Bishop will team up for an interrogation.
