Pascal, a participant in the social documentary series ‘Hartz und herzlich’, has experienced a period of professional and financial instability in Mannheim. Initially, Pascal faced the loss of a landscaping internship after six weeks, reportedly following absences for medical appointments. This dismissal led to complications regarding his ‘Bürgergeld’ (citizen's allowance) benefits, requiring him and his mother to seek assistance from the Jobcenter.

In subsequent updates shared via TikTok, Pascal expressed frustration with local public transport, specifically disruptions to Mannheim’s tram line 4. However, he also indicated a change in his professional outlook, stating, ‘I am happy that tomorrow is Monday again and work is calling,’ signaling a shift toward increased work motivation despite minor health concerns.
