Following a series of preparatory matches in September—including a loss to Gas Sales Bluenergy, a 3-1 win against Romeo Sorrento, and a 3-2 victory over Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte—the team made its regular season debut on October 16. Campobasso secured a 3-1 victory in their season opener against Pag Volley Taviano. The match was highly competitive, particularly during the first three sets, before Campobasso gained control in the fourth. The team won the first, third, and fourth sets with scores of 26-24, 29-27, and 25-19, respectively, after dropping the second set 23-25. Key offensive contributors for Campobasso included Guerrini with 19 points, Suraci with 17, Valchinov with 15, and Arienti with 12. Taviano’s top performer was Padura Diaz, who finished as the match's top scorer with 21 points. Coach Giuseppe Bua observed that although the team faced challenges regarding service efficiency, the win provided “essential momentum for the start of the tournament.” ## Timeline ### 2026-10-18: EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso defeat Taviano 3-1 EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso defeated Pag Volley Taviano 3-1 in their volleyball season opener, led by 19 points from Guerrini. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/energytime-spike-devils-campobasso-defeat-taviano-3-1 ### 2026-10-16: Spike Devils Campobasso wins volleyball season opener Spike Devils Campobasso defeated Taviano 3-1 in their Serie A3 volleyball season opener, led by 19 points from Guerrini. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/spike-devils-campobasso-wins-volleyball-season-opener ### 2026-10-08: EnergyTime Campobasso defeats Bcc Tecbus in preseason volleyball match EnergyTime Campobasso defeated Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte 3-2 in a final preseason volleyball test match as both teams prepare for their upcoming league campaigns. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/energytime-campobasso-defeats-bcc-tecbus-in-preseason-volleyball-match ### 2026-10-04: EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso defeats Romeo Sorrento 3-1 EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso beat Romeo Sorrento 3-1 in a joint training match to test team fitness and cohesion. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/energytime-spike-devils-campobasso-defeats-romeo-sorrento-3-1 ### 2026-09-16: EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso prepare for tournament after Piacenza friendly EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso showed competitive form in a friendly against Gas Sales Bluenergy before preparing for the ‘Città di Isernia’ tournament against Sabaudia and Sorrento. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/energytime-spike-devils-campobasso-prepare-for-tournament-after-piacenza-friendly --- Cite as: Spike Devils Campobasso begins Serie A3 season with win.
