In July 2026, Eneva reported that natural gas from its Azulão field in the Amazon basin was feeding the Jaguatirica II thermoelectric plant in Roraima, achieving full operational availability. The company also utilized drone-based LiDAR surveys to map well-cluster connections for the Gavião Belo gas-pipeline project.

Eneva has committed R$191.7 million to local procurement in Amazonas through 2025, aiming to source 59% of its state purchases from regional suppliers. Operations Director Álcio Adler stated, “We believe Eneva's presence should create shared value for the territories where we operate,” noting that seismic exploration has already engaged over 2,000 local workers. To support this expansion, a 360-hour training program for gas pipe installers was launched via SENAI-AM and Cigás; the first class of 25 students filled immediately.

Following the commissioning of the 295-MW Azulão I plant in Silves, Eneva and GE Vernova have commenced its commercial operations. Utilizing a “Reservoir-to-Wire” model, the facility uses a GE Vernova 7HA.02 high-performance gas turbine to provide power to the National Interconnected System (SIN). To integrate the plant into the Tucuruí–Macapá–Manaus transmission corridor, specialized sub-synchronous resonance filtering and torsional stress relay solutions were implemented. The plant is backed by a 15-year contract guaranteeing R$278.3 million in fixed annual revenue, marking the first stage of the Azulão 950 complex.
