By the end of the acceptance period on 30 July 2026, Ennoconn had subscribed approximately 12.3 million shares, representing about 19.5% of voting rights, which at that stage indicated the company would not hold a majority. Following regulatory clearance, including approval from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the transaction was completed. Ennoconn ultimately acquired a 48.36% stake in Kontron, making it the largest single shareholder despite not holding an absolute majority of voting rights.
