In late September 2026, Poland launched the national stage for the Green Cities Europe Award 2026, an international competition focused on integrating greenery into urban environments. Alongside this, the Green Changer 2026 awards were announced during the Business PRECOP conference to honor individuals and organizations for climate protection and environmental awareness. Recipients included activists, journalists, and scientists, while the cities of Gdańsk and Rybnik were recognized in the “City for Climate” category. By late October 2026, regional recognition continued through various competitions. The “Twoje zielone miejsce na ziemi” photography contest selected winners across student and adult categories for works depicting nature.
