Educational and environmental initiatives continue across Spain, Chile, and Mexico. In Spain, Chiclana has implemented programs involving bird watching and ecological gardening to engage students.

In Mexico, reforestation efforts in Nuevo Laredo have expanded. At the Club Rotario Kindergarten, students and families participated in a workshop organized by the General Coordination of Environmental Management. Participants learned to germinate native species and planted four crepe myrtle trees, chosen for their ability to adapt to local soil and promote biodiversity and water efficiency.

Chilean initiatives focus on both safety and ecosystem conservation. In Punta Arenas, the Laguna Azul Kindergarten conducted a safety and self-care workshop in collaboration with the National Board of Kindergartens (Junji) and the Chilean Association of Security (ACHS). This activity, part of the school’s Integral School Safety Plan (PISE), used interactive tools to help children identify classroom hazards.

Environmental efforts in Chile also target wetland protection. In the Valparaíso region, a workshop at the Cartagena Wetland provided training in recording avian vocalizations to support citizen science via eBird. Additionally, the Biobío region is set to host the First Regional Meeting of Wetlands in Concepción and Coronel. This event aims to unite socio-environmental organizations and specialists through seminars on the Mapuche worldview and workshops focused on community participation and ecosystem protection.
