In October 2026, Italy saw the launch of environmental awareness initiatives focused on climate change and meteorology.

In Campogalliano, the Museo della Bilancia inaugurated an interactive exhibition titled ‘Il clima in bilico. Misurare il cambiamento climatico, pesare le scelte’. Supported by the Fondazione di Modena, the exhibit utilizes scientific instruments to explore the greenhouse effect, precipitation, and energy, while also teaching visitors to identify climate-related fake news.

Simultaneously, in Monza, experts from the Italian Air Force presented on the importance of long-term meteorological data collection. The presentation addressed the rise in temperatures and the historical evolution of human adaptation to climatic shifts.
