The Secretariat of Environment and Climate Change in La Pampa has launched three new educational guides focused on the province’s natural reserves. Titled ‘Misión Pichi Mahuida’, ‘Misión Parque Luro’, and ‘Misión Laguna Guatraché’, these digital booklets were presented at the 2026 Provincial Book Fair.

Targeted at children between the ages of 6 and 10, the materials are designed to encourage the study of Pampean biodiversity through observation and exploration. The guides are intended to function as flexible tools for teachers to connect classroom curricula with local natural heritage. The initiative is based on the principle that understanding a territory is a “prerequisite for its conservation”. The resources are available for free download via the Secretariat’s website.
