Developments: 6. The Epic Games Store initiated a series of seasonal promotions in late October 2026. The event began with a giveaway of horror titles, ‘Sker Ritual’ and ‘Home: A Unique Horror Adventure’, available for free claim between October 22 and October 29. ‘Sker Ritual’, developed by Wales Interactive, is a first-person survival horror shooter set in 1914 on Sker Island, featuring steampunk weaponry and cooperative play for up to four players. ‘Home: A Unique Horror Adventure’ is a 2D retro-style mystery designed as a single-sitting experience. In addition to the horror titles, the strategy and survival game ‘Terraspace’, which involves colony management and space exploration, was offered for free until October 27, 2026. Once claimed, these titles remain permanently in the user’s library. As part of the giveaway, ‘Home: A Unique Horror Adventure’ was made available for free redemption through the Epic Games Store app on Android devices. This mobile offering allows users to claim the pixel-art investigation title via the app until October 29 at 12:00 PM BRT. This was followed by the launch of an annual Halloween Sale, which offers discounts of up to 80% on various PC titles. Featured games include ‘Resident Evil Requiem’, ‘Cronos: The New Dawn’, ‘Cyberpunk 2077’, ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’, and ‘LEGO Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight’. The sale also includes cosmetic bonuses for ‘Fortnite’ on specific purchases and a gifting function, with the promotion scheduled to run until November 2, 2026. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-25: Epic Games offers free horror game for Android users Epic Games is offering the pixel-art horror game ‘Home: A Unique Horror Adventure’ for free on the Android Epic Games Store app until October 29. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/epic-games-offers-free-horror-game-for-android-users ### 2026-10-25: Epic Games Store offers free titles including Terraspace and Sker Ritual Epic Games Store is offering several titles for free, including the survival game Terraspace, the horror adventure Home, and the cooperative FPS Sker Ritual. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/epic-games-store-offers-free-titles-including-terraspace-and-sker-ritual ### 2026-10-22: Epic Games Store offers free horror titles for Halloween Epic Games Store is offering two horror games, 'Sker Ritual' and 'Home: A Unique Horror Adventure', for free to celebrate the Halloween season. 6 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/epic-games-store-offers-free-horror-titles-for-halloween ### 2026-10-21: Epic Games Store offers free horror titles for Halloween Epic Games Store is offering two free horror games, ‘Sker Ritual’ and ‘Home: A Unique Horror Adventure’, for users to claim until October 29. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/epic-games-store-offers-free-horror-titles-for-halloween-1 ### 2026-10-19: Epic Games Store and PlayStation launch Halloween sales Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Humble Bundle have launched seasonal Halloween sales, offering significant discounts on AAA titles, horror games, and exclusive cosmetic rewards. 16 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/epic-games-store-launches-halloween-sale-with-discounts-up-to-80 ### 2026-10-17: Epic Games Store to offer free horror games in October Epic Games Store is offering ‘Sker Ritual’ and ‘Home: A Unique Horror Adventure’ for free from October 22 to October 29, 2026. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/epic-games-store-to-offer-free-horror-games-in-october --- Cite as: Epic Games Store Halloween promotions.
