The Regional Committee of Epirus has finalized contractor selections for eight infrastructure projects, focusing on road network improvements in Preveza, maintenance of provincial roads, and urgent repairs to road subsidence. 

Seven new projects have also been approved, including road bypass improvements in Lavdani and subsidence repairs on the Egnatia Odos. Regarding major transport axes, Governor Alexandros Kachramanis noted that while the study for the Preveza – Ionian Odos bypass near Filippiada is complete, the connection between Preveza and Igoumenitsa remains complex. The Regional Authority is discussing a potential study for the coastal section with the Ministry of Infrastructure.
