On his ‘83 Weeks’ podcast, Bischoff suggested that while McMahon might make minor appearances at events like the Hall of Fame, he is unlikely to return to regular programming or active storylines. Bischoff argued that the personal baggage and legal controversies surrounding McMahon outweigh any potential benefits to the company, making a leadership role or a position on the TKO Group Holdings board highly remote.

McMahon resigned as TKO executive chairman in January 2024 following a lawsuit from former employee Janel Grant alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking, allegations which McMahon has denied. Bischoff noted that the risks to the brand posed by these public controversies make a regular television presence unlikely.
