Sources: 14. Developments: 3. Erling Haaland has continued to extend his international scoring records. Following his previous milestones, the Manchester City striker scored twice during Norway’s 3-2 UEFA Nations League victory over Denmark, bringing his total to 65 international goals in 57 appearances. This achievement further solidifies his position as the highest-scoring male international player from Scandinavia, surpassing Zlatan Ibrahimović, and has seen him equal the goal tally of Didier Drogba. Off the pitch, Haaland’s commercial interests via his British-based company, York Promotions Ltd., have seen significant growth, reporting net assets of £19.6 million at the end of 2025. The company manages his image rights and maintains interests in software development and aircraft. However, legal complications have emerged as Haaland and York Promotions have filed a lawsuit against Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA. The litigation involves the alleged unauthorized use of Haaland’s likeness in marketing materials, specifically regarding a social media post that utilized an edited image of the player during the World Cup. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-29: Erling Haaland breaks Scandinavian scoring record and files lawsuit Erling Haaland has become Scandinavia's highest-scoring male international player, surpassing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
