The campaign utilizes a modified truck containing an escape room designed to simulate the manipulation mechanisms and authentic experiences of trafficking victims through puzzles and logical tasks. Developed through international cooperation between Polish authorities—including the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Polish Police, and the Border Guard—and Dutch partners such as the Reshape Foundation and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the project targets youth and individuals seeking work or travel abroad. Following initial operations in the Opole Voivodeship, the campaign is expanding its reach with a tour across Silesian cities, including Ruda Śląska, Tarnowskie Góry, Tychy, Bielsko-Biała, and Pszczyna. The tour is scheduled to conclude with a national finale in Pszczyna. Throughout the tour, information stands staffed by various law enforcement and labor inspectorate officials provide practical safety advice and guidance on recognizing trafficking traps. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-22: EscapeTruck educational project to tour Silesian cities The EscapeTruck, a mobile escape room based on real trafficking cases, will tour Silesian cities to educate the public on human trafficking and forced labor prevention. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/escapetruck-educational-project-to-tour-silesian-cities ### 2026-10-17: Escape Truck campaign targets human trafficking awareness in Poland The ‘Escape Truck’ campaign in Poland uses a mobile escape room to educate youth on recognizing human trafficking risks and manipulation tactics used by criminals. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/escape-truck-campaign-targets-human-trafficking-awareness-in-poland --- Cite as: Escape Truck human trafficking awareness campaign.
