The government of Espírito Santo has committed R$ 24.2 million to develop a housing complex in Mimoso do Sul. The project aims to construct 136 social interest homes equipped with complete urban infrastructure, including electrical, hydraulic, drainage, and sewage systems, as well as a sewage treatment plant and street paving.

The development will also feature public recreational spaces, including a 1,300-square-meter plaza with a playground and a 3,500-square-meter linear park. This initiative is part of a broader response to heavy rainfall in March 2024 that caused significant destruction in the municipality, with the state government reporting a total of R$ 310 million invested across 198 initiatives in Mimoso do Sul.
