Ethan Mbappé, a 19-year-old midfielder for Lille OSC, has become the subject of transfer interest and international recruitment discussions.

In early October, the Turkish club Fenerbahçe reportedly considered a potential transfer for the player to help manage their foreign player quota. The move was suggested by intermediaries, though the club had not made an official move pending scouting reports.

By mid-October, focus shifted to Mbappé’s international future. While he recently debuted for the France Espoirs team in qualifiers against Iceland and Estonia, the Cameroonian football federation has targeted him for the national team due to his father’s origins. Mbappé remains under contract with Lille as he prepares for the U21 European Championship.
