Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest is organizing several academic and career-oriented events. In October 2026, the university will host ELTEfeszt 2026, an interactive career choice festival aimed at high school students and young people preparing for higher education. The festival is intended to provide information on university programs, admission processes, and student life through lectures, workshops, and sample lessons.

Looking ahead to July 2027, ELTE will host a Dutch Doctoral Summer School focused on the theme of ‘Polyphony in Literature and Linguistics.’ This program, conducted in Dutch, is designed for PhD and advanced MA students to explore various perspectives on polyphony, including psycholinguistics, translation studies, and the politics of language. The summer school is organized in collaboration with several Dutch studies departments and supported by CEEPUS and Erasmus+ programs.
