The EuroLeague basketball competition has entered a double-game week for the 8th and 9th rounds of matches. Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Anadolu Efes are scheduled to play two matches each between October 27 and October 30.

As part of the 8th round, Beşiktaş is set to host Olympiacos in Istanbul. Olympiacos enters the matchup with a 5-2 record but faces roster challenges. Head coach Georgios Bartzokas will be without players Evan Fournier, Jean Montero, and Nikola Milutinov due to injury, while Tyler Dorsey is sidelined for disciplinary reasons. The team aims to bounce back from a recent loss to Fenerbahçe.

Ahead of the EuroLeague fixture, Olympiacos has seen success in other disciplines, including a 2-0 football victory against Marko and a 19-17 water polo win over Jadran Herceg Novi in the Champions League. Regarding the basketball preparations, coach Bartzokas noted the team is also awaiting the integration of newcomer John Concha.
