European basketball competitions continue to see significant activity across domestic and international leagues. In the Euroleague, Real Madrid secured their second consecutive win with a 98-89 victory over Armani Milano, driven by a strong performance from Felíz. This follows previous injury concerns regarding Gabriel Deck’s shoulder.

Fenerbahce also maintained momentum, returning to winning form with a 99-80 victory against Zalgiris, building on their earlier win against Cayirova. In other Euroleague action, Dubai defeated Baskonia with a score of 79-93.

As the 2026–27 EuroLeague season progresses, injury reports have impacted several rosters. Zalgiris Kaunas confirmed that Nigel Williams-Goss is sidelined with a hamstring injury and Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu remains off the roster. While Azuolas Tubelis is expected to be available despite recent knee pain, other roster notes include Fenerbahce’s Onuralp Bitim being a recent game-time decision and Shane Larkin having yet to appear in EuroLeague play this season. Additionally, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne’s Mathis Dossou-Yovo remains sidelined with a groin injury.

In recent Round 6 action, Olympiacos secured a 105-100 overtime victory against Barcelona, led by Sasha Vezenkov, who earned MVP honors. Olympiacos and Fenerbahce, both holding 5-1 records, are scheduled to face each other at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. Fenerbahce enters the matchup following a record-setting defensive performance involving 14 blocks in a single game against Partizan. Current power rankings place Panathinaikos, Fenerbahce, and Olympiacos in the top three positions.

In the EuroLeague Women's competition, Casademont Zaragoza remains undefeated after defeating Athinaikos 89-78, fueled by Merritt Hempe and Ornella Bankolé. Meanwhile, Valencia Basket lost 63-77 at home to Flammes Carolo.
