The decision in Knežević’s match prompted an official complaint from the BK Sveti Donat club to the Croatian Boxing Federation. The club alleged “incomprehensible and biased judging,” claiming the officials involved had professional ties to Serbian tournaments, which they argued violated neutrality principles.
