Various European cities are hosting light art festivals and historical commemorations. In Prague, the 14th Signal Festival features 21 installations under the theme ‘Dream On! Dreams and Visions’, including light landscapes on historical facades. In the Mur region, the Water & Light Festival utilizes light, sound, and holograms to showcase geological features across Bad Radkersburg, Austria, and Gornja Radgona, Slovenia.

In the Czech Republic, Plzeň is hosting events to mark the 108th anniversary of the founding of independent Czechoslovakia, concluding with a ‘Procession of Lights’. Additionally, the company Decoled is launching light exhibitions across the country to highlight local history and legends, such as the industrial past of Ostrava and the era of Charles IV in Prague.
