Oradea has hosted various cultural and academic events. In mid-October, the city hosted the FAST 2026 Architecture Schools Festival, organized by the University of Oradea in collaboration with the Order of Architects in Romania. The festival included international participants from Hungary and Moldova, featuring exhibitions, workshops, and conferences focused on urban development and heritage at locations such as the Oradea Fortress and City Hall.

Following this, organizers of the Oradea Christmas Market announced that vendor registration for the 2026 edition is open from October 19 to November 8. The market is scheduled to run from late November through December across several central squares.
