In late October, Divinópolis scheduled beer festivals including the Rota da Cerveja circuit, featuring artisanal beer and live music. Simultaneously, Belo Horizonte hosted the Superminas Food Show, an event expected to involve 600 exhibitors and generate significant business transactions.

Cultural programming in the region includes the 13th International Comics Festival (FIQ BH), which features international and Brazilian artists, as well as the Minas Music Encounter and dance productions at the Sesc Palladium.
