Experimental and avant-garde music events are scheduled across the region. In Thessaloniki, Defkaz Records and the Mikri Skini venue are collaborating for a two-night program of improvisational music to celebrate the record label’s 20th anniversary and the venue’s centenary. The program includes Swedish pianist Alex Zethson and the release of the album ‘SERRAT’.

In Skopje, the British electronic duo Autechre is scheduled to perform at the Youth Cultural Center on October 2, 2026. The performance, which typically occurs in total darkness, will feature support from Macedonian producer Alexander Ordev and the DJ project MDX.
